AN Evesham businesswoman has unveiled her secret weapon which she hopes will keep her customers’ feelings sky high during the bridge closure.

Vale Balloons owner Nikki Moran plans to bridge the gap caused by the 10-week closure by using her super duper 4x4 broomstick to carry her across the watery gap to make deliveries to her customers.

Nikki hopes her cunning plan will sweep away any problems caused by the closure and ensure the Avon’s waters remain untroubled.

With Halloween approaching fast, Vale Balloons has all manner of spooky items in stock to ensure a fun party has all the right ingredients to make it a hit with children and adults alike.

“I'll get to my customers, whatever it takes,” said Nikki. “You can phone, email or contact us on Facebook and we’ll deliver within Evesham free of charge when you spend £15 or more.

“If the thought of traffic chaos puts you off getting to us for Halloween or any party balloons, we’ll come to you.”

Nikki is remaining positive during the bridge closure, which is due to come to an end in late November, and hopes there will be more treats, rather than tricks in store in the near future.

Meanwhile, children can visit Vale Balloons, located on Avon Street, just off the High Street, to receive a free balloon next Thursday and see Nikki's broomstick parked up in the shop, ready to make another flying trip around Evesham.
