ONE of the oldest residents of a village is joining one of the youngest to help raise funds to repair their parish church.
Jean Leng, aged 86, has organised a bring and buy and coffee morning on Saturday to help raise £40,000 for the bell tower of St Peter's Church, Abbots Morton, near Bidford.
Meanwhile, 13-year-old Imo Dykes is staging a family quiz night to raise funds at Abbots Morton Village Hall on Friday, November 22.
