CRICKETERS from Bidford raised more than £500 for two charities at their annual dinner.

Bidford-on-Avon Cricket Club met at the Ingon Manor Golf Club and Hotel, Stratford, where they raised money for the Shakespeare Hospice and Cancer Research UK.

Guests bid in a silent auction and took part in a raffle, which had prizes including tickets for a tour of Lords.

More than £584 was raised.
