A SCALE model of Abbots Morton parish church has raised £51 towards a fund to repair the ancient church’s bell tower.
The replica, which was created as a coin collecting box, has been on display at the nearby Hiller’s Farm Shop where customers have donated loose change towards the appeal.
The model was made by a resident in Abbots Morton after a suggestion by Peter Dyke, who runs the Hillers Fish shop.
“I'm delighted at the amount it's raised in a short time,” said Mr Dyke.
“Every bit helps towards this very worthwhile appeal.” Visit abbotsmortonbelltower.co.uk.
