A NEW antique shop in Evesham's Port Street will open its doors for the first time today.
Whimsy Antiques is a small furniture dealer and home décor retailer established by Paul Stephenson, who also owned 81 Port Street.
After the closure of Bookworms, the second hand and antiquarian book shop that had been in the premises for 43 years, the building was completely renovated and the Edwardian shop frontage restored.
With no businesses wanting to move into the premises Mr Stephenson decided to indulge his long standing interest in antique country furniture by offering a selection of carefully selected, practical pieces of furniture for sale at realistic prices.
The shop will open at 10am on Saturday but no find out more visit whimsyantiques.co.uk, call 01386 312009 or email whimsyantiques@live.com.
