DROITWICH Tennis Club has agreed to help a charity that helps bereaved children this year.
The club will support Footsteps which helps children, young people and their families in Worcestershire to cope with grief following the death of a parent, sibling or another loved one.
Neil Bates, club chairman, said: "We are a friendly, family orientated club and can relate totally to the work that Footsteps carry out.
"We are looking forward to helping them with their essential work in and around the county by holding a number of events this year to raise as much as we can for them.”
Sue Smith from Footsteps said: “The service we provide to bereaved children and their families in Worcestershire is totally free of charge and as a small charity every penny counts.
"We are delighted that Droitwich Tennis Club has chosen to support us this year."
