THESE cute, furry cats are in need of a loving home and would make great companions.
There are at least 12 cats that need rehoming who have been living at Evesham Cats Protection, Pitchers Hill, Wickhamford, for the last four months.
Some are older cats whose owners have died and have been waiting a while to be rehomed.
But volunteer Fran Holder said they are also getting a number of stray, male cats such as Jaffa which have not been neutered or microchipped.
"This means that they are wandering miles from home and without a microchip we are unable to trace an owner," she said. "Not having them neutered also creates more unwanted litters of kittens."
She added they were keen to rehome a number of older cats who have been waiting for a while, as they are expecting a influx of kittens in the next few months.
"Again, these cats will get overlooked in favour of the cute kittens," she said. "The older ones appreciate a home and are great companions."
The adoption fee for all the cats is £45 and they come de-fleed, vaccinated, wormed and micro-chipped and owners will get four weeks insurance.
