YOUNGSTERS at a Vale school created their own masterpieces at an art day held to celebrate Picasso.
The children in key stage 2 at Harvington First and Nursery School were visited by Picasso, also known as Filbert the artist on Friday, May 23, for an art workshop.
He came into the school and taught the children about Picasso's style as well as drawing and painting skills.
Teacher Becky Enstone said they all enjoyed the day.
"The children went onto produce their own abstract portrait in Picasso style," said Mrs Enstone. "Everyone had a fantastic day and the masterpieces will be put on display within the school."
