THE Evesham Singers are looking for a new musical director when their current leader imoves on to pastures new following their summer concert.
The choir, a friendly group of ladies who meet every Thursday evening during term time at Evesham Methodist Church, performs two major concerts each year in the summer and at Christmas.
After celebrating its longevity in 2010 with a Golden Anniversary Concert, the group hopes to continue contributing to various musical events throughout the area from its extensive repertoire of traditional pieces, folk songs and contemporary works.
It is essential a new Musical Director is appointed very soon if the choir is to continue fundraising.
The position offers the potential to work with dedicated singers and the choir would like to hear from anyone who is interested and qualified in taking on this role.
For details about the Musical Director position or the summer concert, should call Hilary Freeman on 01386 421839.
