A WOMAN suffered superficial injuries after being hit by a car during this evening's rush hour.
The incident happened by the pedestrian crossing opposite the University of Worcester Arena, Hytlon Road, at about 6.30pm and involved a Renault Clio.
Police and an ambulance attended the scene and the woman was treated at the scene for minor and superficial injuries but did not need to be taken to hospital.
Traffic was directed by police and motorists only experienced minor delays, with two-way traffic returned to the road shortly after 7pm.
