A NEW paddlesports club has opened in Pershore.
Absolute Outdoors Ltd has launched PRYC Paddlesports Club, a group to introduce canoeing and kayaking skills to 10 to 18-year-olds in a safe environment.
The club will be run through the Pershore Riverside Youth Centre and Absolute Outdoors Ltd as they work together to deliver a wide range of educational and community focused clubs, events and courses.
In particular, during the summer, two exciting new youth clubs will be launched, the Monday Night Paddlesports Club and the Holiday Adventure Club.
The partnership will see local start-up Absolute Outdoors Ltd using the Centre as a base for many of its products.
In return, Absolute Outdoors Ltd will share money from the courses with the charitable youth centre, helping to cover the increasing costs of running the important facility.
