PLANS to build a care village on land next to the historical Wood Norton Hotel have been put back.
The application by Richmond Care Villages Holdings proposed to build a close care retirement community with 60 care bedrooms, 50 care suits and 50 care apartments and a further three buildings providing 29 apartments.
It would replace an existing scheme in place on the site.
Speaking on behalf of Wychavon District Council planners and the developers the case officer Heather Pearson requested the application be deferred to deal with some issues.
Councillor unanimously voted to defer the application.
