KIND-hearted fundraisers spent the day serving tea, coffee and cakes on Friday (September 26) to raise some money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Premiere People in Evesham held an event as part of the World's Biggest Coffee Morning and raised £140.
In Pershore a fundraiser was held at the St Andrew's Centre offering not only tasty treats but also a display of antique dolls put together by Jean Andrew.
She thanked everyone for their support in raising £565.41.
"Quite a few ladies brought in their own dolls for me to give them my opinion on and I was kept very busy all morning answering questions on the display."
At Heathlands Care Home in Pershore there was a pirate themed event, which raised £85 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Brian Cookson, 98, a resident, said: “I really enjoyed today, having a chat with the Mayor over a cuppa. It was nice to see the children turning up for their treasure hunt too.”
And fellow resident Frances Davies, 87, added: “I have enjoyed every minute. It was lovely to see all the children. The singer was brilliant, it was lovely to host an event that’s for a good cause.”
