PUPILS at Broadway First School stepped up to the plate when asked to create four guys for Farncombe Estate's bonfire on November 5.
Each of the four school houses made a guy and Farncombe Estate chief executive officer Andrew Grahame was tasked with judging the best. The winning house being treated to a cream tea and nature walk on the estate.
The pupils used their creativity and nimble fingers to create: 'minion guy', 'traditional guy', 'bride guy' and 'scarecrow guy'.
Mr Grahame praised the children's behaviour and skills and said they were so good he declared them all winners. All the school will now go along to the estate to take part in a nature walk and enjoy cakes afterwards.
