A YOUNGSTER climbed to dizzying heights raising the roof and money for people suffering with leprosy.
Archie Griffiths, a pupil at Chipping Campden School was inspired to raise money for Lepra after meeting a team of workers from the charity.
The 12-year-old, who climbs at Evesham Leisure Centre every week, decided to approach the leisure centre for help and they were delighted to offer their support.
The original challenge was to climb a quarter of a mile, the equivalent of 50 climbs, in two hours and raise £250 for Lepra with the support of the climbing wall manager and senior instructor.
In fact, Archie reached a new high by climbing the wall 100 times in three hours, a height of more than 800 metres - almost as high as the tallest building in the world.
He has also raised more than £400 so far.
