PUPILS at Fladbury CE First School commemorated 100 years since the start of World War I with a performance of ‘Archie Dobson’s War’. This moving and accomplished performance by the whole school was a sell-out with fantastic acting, amazing costumes and lively music.

Chair of Governors, Pam Stubbs, said: "We were transported back to the days of World War I and the impact it had on everyone, even the youngest in the family. Parents and visitors were moved almost to tears with the sensitivity of the children and the rousing cries of ‘Read all about it !’ announcing victory. It was a real Oscar winning performance."
