TWO parrots and a cockatiel have been stolen from a home in Droitwich.

Police are appealing to the Droitwich community for information following the burglary at a home on Stalls Farm Road.

The burglary happened shortly after 9pm on Saturday (April 11).

The offenders forced entry to the property and stole two African grey parrots and a cockatiel called CoCo, Congo and Joey.

All three birds can talk and say their own names.

Investigating officer, PC James Prosser, said: "I urge anyone who saw anything suspicious at the time, in particular someone with three birds in one large cage, to make contact with us as soon as possible.

"I am also asking anyone who may have been offered the birds for sale or know of anyone who has recently acquired a new parrot to get in touch."

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 0690 of 11 April 2015.
