MORE rain is in store for this weekend, with the chance of thunder storms over Worcestershire.

To follow on from a grey Friday, today is set to remain cloudy until the late morning when the sun will break through for several hours, seeing temperatures rise to around 25oC in some areas.

But Ian Michaelwaite, from Pershore-based netweather.tv, said this won't last long.

"When the sun breaks through the clouds the temperatures will jump up very quickly," he said.

"But not long after that a front will come in from the west, which means we will see a few hours of lovely sun followed by heavy showers and the chance of thunder. Before Saturday is over, some parts of the county could see between 10ml and 15ml of rainfall.

"On Sunday, there will be a lump of rain hovering above Worcestershire. It will be a very wet day, again with the chance of thunder.

"Monday will see a much fresher day and we will loose that humidity. It will remain fairly grey and will be nothing special although the temperatures may creep in to the high teens."
