A SPECIAL needs school in the Vale is organising its own mini Relay for Life event as a way of raising money help others.
The recently formed Upper School Student Council Action Team, at the Vale of Evesham School has made fundraising for others one of its aims and will hold the event in June in aid of Cancer Research UK.
On Thursday April 14 they were given an opportunity by Morrisons Evesham to do a bucket collection at the store with their teaching assistant Maria Warwick, from Evesham's Relay Team 'Groovin' for a Cure'.
The students were thrilled to raise more than £107 in the collection and this was boosted to £320 when Groovin' for a Cure's team came along later in the day to help.
The students want to thank Morrisons and its customers for their generosity.
