PUPILS at a Pershore school have learnt about the delicate techniques used in forensic science.
Dr John Scholar from Reading University delivered his DNA day to 25 year 13 biologists at Pershore High School.
The students put theories about gene technology into practice which is only possible thanks to the specialist equipment Dr Scholar brings to the school.
Dr Scholar showed students how to use a micro-pipette and delicate techniques that help produce genetic fingerprints.
It is the last year that the academic will visit the school as he will retire in September,
Head Clive Corbett wished him a long and happy retirement.
