A PERSHORE youngster is preparing for a daredevil challenge to raise money in memory of her dad.

Ella Sinnett, a pupil at Pinvin Middle School, is challenging herself to compete a zipwire safari in Snowdonia later this month.

The challenge, on April 23, will see the 11-year-old attempt to complete six rope courses containing 23 zip wires, 60 feet high over a distance of 564 metres.

The youngster is taking on the challenge in memory of her dad, Dave, who died of Myeloma at the age of just 46-years-old in 2014.

His wife Kerry, and three children, Lauren, Aaron and Ella, have fundraised in his memory ever since his death, with every penny raised being donated to Myeloma UK.

Through various fundraisers the family have impressively managed to raise more than £3,500.

The charity is the only organisation in the UK dealing with myeloma, a bone marrow cancer, helping patients to live longer with a better quality of life.

Mrs Sinnett said: "Ella has always been strong, independent and a determined child.

"She is excited about the challenge and hopes to raise awareness and support."
