THE Met Office has issued a yellow warning that the current fog is expected to become widespread throughout the county this evening.
A spokesman for the Met Office said: "Fog is expected to become increasingly widespread through Wednesday evening and overnight into Thursday.
"Slower journey times are possible and there is a chance of delays to flights."
The warning will be in place until 11pm on Thursday.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution during the weather warning period, with the advice being to use fog lights, maintain a greater distance between vehicles, use wipers and keep windscreens demisted to aid visibility and if visibility is very limited at junctions and crossroads have windows lowered to make it easier to listen out for approaching traffic.
As well as the fog, temperatures are expected to drop this evening to 3C and Worcestershire County Council's will be monitoring the situation, and may send out the fleet of gritters.
