The draw is at 9am with fishing for five hours from ten and all are welcome.

PAUL Caswell won his second open contest of the weekend at the Harvington venue's Island Pool.

Fishing pole and pellet on the deck at ten metres he weighed in 76.12.0 to edge out John Magann and John Perella in Sunday's match.

The previous day the Shakespeare man had bagged well over the 100lb mark netting carp on pole and pellet.

Pete Clarke won last Thursday's Affordable Open with another healthy three-figure weight.

MEMBERS are reminded that the presentation of cups will take place at Evesham Workingmen's Club on Saturday from 8pm.

Members are invited to bring guests on a night when food and a disco will be provided free of charge.

A committee meeting will take place tomorrow evening from 9pm.

SUNDAY started out dry but chilly and saw 13 members turn out on the bankside of Phil's Pool at the Jubilee Fishery for the seventh match of the Fiesta Cakes Spring League.

Fishing was poor with only six members catching with winner Antony Icke weighing in 7-8-0.

Second was Steve Smith and Wayne Panting both with 4-12-0 and in fourth place was Ron Williams (4-8-0).

Other weights: Cyril Thompson 3-8-0; Ray Woods 2-12-0; Mick Leeming 2-10-0.

The next match is at Lemington Lakes, draw 8am, fishing for five hours from 9.
