The Battle of Britain has been commemorated in Evesham.

The town's Royal Air Force Association held a service of remembrance at Waterside Cemetery last week to mark Battle of Britain Day.

September 15 marks the anniversary of the important conflict in World War Two in which the RAF defeated the German Luftwaffe.

The service in Evesham was dedicated to the memory of all those who served in the RAF and the Air Forces of the Commonwealth.
