A crematorium in Worcestershire is offering residents the chance to remember their loved ones this Mother’s Day.
The chapel at Vale Crematorium, between Evesham and Pershore, will open to visitors next month, providing people with a place to reflect and pay tribute to their mothers.
From 10am to midday on Sunday, March 19, mourners will be able to write personal messages on wooden harts and light candles.
Catherine Linfield, site manager at the Vale Crematorium, said: “Mother’s Day can be a particularly poignant time for those who have lost their mum or mother-figure, or for mothers who have been bereaved of a child.
“We are inviting local families to visit us during this period to have a moment of reflection and contemplation within our chapel and beautiful grounds.
“We hope that visiting us will bring comfort to anyone who needs it during this special time of the year.”
