A SUPERMARKET has launched a new car boot sale.

Morrisons on Davies Road in Evesham will be hosting car boots throughout the Summer due to popular demand.

The store’s community champion, Theresa Tydeman, came up with the idea as a way to raise much-needed funds for the supermarket’s partner Charity, Together for Short Lives.

Initially planned as a one-off, the first sale held at the beginning of June was so popular that they have decided to make it a regular occurrence.

Theresa said: “Together for Short Lives strive to help every child and family living with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition get the very best care and support they can so they can make the most of every moment.

“By popular demand, we are going to make the car boot sale a fortnightly event throughout the summer and everyone is welcome!”

“It seems that a lot of the usual car boot sales around the Vale have ceased to exist so it is in demand.”
