THOUSANDS of sausage and cider lovers came to Evesham to celebrate a new festival in the town.
Around 6,000 people gathered in Crown Meadow for the free Evesham Sauage and Cider Festival, which took place last weekend.
The two-day festival welcomed an extensive range of sausages, including Bratwurst, Cumberland Brockwurst Lollipops (pinwheel sausages), Chilli Bratwurst Pork, Black Pudding Cheesy Bratwurst, Footlong Brockwurst and loaded Frankfurter Hot Dogs.
Live music and fresh aromas from various food stalls filled the park, and guests could also test their problem-solving skills with an escape room hosted by Mini Mind Quests.
Festival organiser Mark Cookson said: "It was great for families with The Purple Spider bus providing arts & crafts plus Danters Funfair and inflatable castles and slides.
"It was a very successful, well-attended event with a lovely atmosphere created by the local talented musicians entertaining the crowd.
"Some bars needed restocking with the many funky ciders ready to do it all over again for the Sunday.
"It was a lovely weekend with mostly dry weather.
"There was something for everyone."
The festival had an extensive range of music, including rock, pop classics, Britpop, indie, acoustic guitar singalongs and a DJ set playing funk, soul and chilled Ibiza classics.
Mr Cookson added the live music from across the weekend was fantastic, and he enjoyed all the artists who played, including The Cuginis, who headlined on Saturday and The Indieciples, who headlined on Sunday.
A group of final-year students at Prince Henry's High School also performed under their band, The Lizards, by kickstarting the music on the Sunday.
Worcestershire-based bars like Brew 61 - a local brewery from Bromsgrove - were at the event, and cocktail bars like Rock Star Bar and Sunrise Bar.
This year marked Evesham's very first Sausage and Cider Festival.
Mr Cookson said he is looking forward to making the Sausage and Cider Festival an annual event in Evesham following this year's success.
