THESE bird's eye view pictures show the new ten affordable homes being built next to a farm in Pershore.
Hellens Residential is creating ten affordable homes for people to purchase on a Discount Market Sale basis.
These are available to eligible households at a discounted price to the normal market price.
The properties include four one-bed bungalows starting at £136,500, three two-bed bungalows starting at £150,500, and three three-bed terraced houses at £248,500 each.
Built next to Allesborough Farm, the development is no more than a 15-minute walk away from the town centre.
The development incorporates the historic farm characteristics and is surrounded by countryside.
With a view to helping people get on the housing ladder, the range of properties are available to locals who have a household income of less than £80,000 per annum and must not be able to purchase the property at the open market value.
An open viewing day will be held at the properties on Saturday, October 21 from 9am to 1pm.
Kate Hellens, managing director at Hellens Residential said: “We are delighted to be providing affordable homes in collaboration with Wychavon District Council.
“In particular we are excited to be offering a mix of one and two bed bungalows in a highly sought-after location at a discounted price.
“We encourage anyone to contact us for further details or to register their interest by visiting our website at www.hellensresidential.co.uk or by calling the office on 0191 594 6666"
Councillor Chris Day, deputy leader and executive board member for Housing, Health and Wellbeing for Wychavon, said: “I am excited to see that these new affordable homes are now available for our residents to move into.
"Schemes like the Discount Market Scheme support Wychavon’s commitment to improving the supply of all types of affordable housing across the district.
"We have an ambitious target to deliver 1,000 new affordable homes in the Wychavon area by 2024, and we're on track to do just that."
