A WORCESTERSHIRE MP said he will work closely with officials after another fatal crash on the A44.

MP Nigel Huddleston said he was saddened to hear of the recent crash in Broadway, which killed a woman and led two others to be taken to hospital

The crash, which took place on Monday, comes after a fatal motorbike crash on the A44 and another fatal crash involving multiple vehicles on the same day in August.

MP Huddleston said: "I was saddened to hear of the recent fatal crash in Broadway, and I offer my deepest condolences to the family of the woman who tragically lost her life.

"It would be inappropriate for me to speculate on the cause of the crash while the police investigation is ongoing, but I want to assure residents that I will work closely with National Highways and West Mercia Police once full circumstances are known.

"I urge anybody that witnessed the crash or was on the road at the time of the collision and have dash cam footage to contact West Mercia Police."

The crash involved a white Vauxhall Insignia, a white Mercedes and a silver Jaguar.

Police are investigating the crash and asking for any drivers on the road around the time for their dashcam footage.

The road between Evesham and Broadway was closed at the time.

West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham to the scene.

An ambulance from South Western Ambulance Service also attended.

Anyone with footage from Monday's crash can contact PC Natasha Mccrea-Steele by email at natasha.mccrea-steele@westmercia.police.uk or call 101, extension 7744107, quoting incident number 00318i.
