East Lancashire has plenty of pizza restaurants and takeaways but where is the best place to go if you’re fancying a slice of Italian cuisine?
With so many to choose from, we asked Lancashire Telegraph readers for their recommendations.
Back then it was National Pizza Day but we think pizza should be celebrated every day so if you’re looking for some takeaway inspiration, look no further.
Best pizza places in East Lancashire
Some East Lancashire pizza restaurants were mentioned multiple times in the comments of our Facebook post with locals praising the food they serve.
The most popular though was Enzo’s Pizza Takeaway in Burnley with more than 15 votes and plenty of praise.
One visitor commented: “Enzo’s Pizza Takeaway - without a shadow of a doubt!”
Another said: “Enzo's in Burnley, it's been around for decades! Lovely family-run business”.
With a heart eye emoji and a pizza slice emoji, another commented: “Enzo's by far the best pizzas around”.
The restaurant in Burnley has also pleased reviewers on Tripadvisor, earning it a 4.5/5 rating from 267 reviews.

One reviewer added three drooling face emojis and said: “Best takeaway in Burnley no question about it. Amazing taste & quality every time using the best ingredients, which makes all the difference. Pizzas to die for & the famous chips of course”.
Another said: “Been my go-to spot for pizza for over a decade. Fairly priced, incredibly tasty pizza's and great service.”
Enzo’s Pizza Takeaway wasn’t the only pizza place to be recognised by our readers though with Pizza Perfection in Nelson, Serranos Deli Pizza Padiham in Burnley and All Fired Up, also in Nelson, all impressing locals.
