STAFF at Wychavon District Council raised more than £500 for Children In Need by holding a variety of fun activities.

Many people donned spotty outfits and jeans and paid for the privilege while others sold cakes last Friday (14).

A three-legged race was also held around the Civic Centre in Pershore and one plucky member of staff had his chest waxed for the cause.

A silent auction was held on the day and one staff member was sponsored for his attempt to visit as many London landmarks as possible in one day.
