THERE were plenty of first places when the Evesham club competed in a friendly B Grade Gala at Oldbury.
Clemence Rich, Jessica Wheatley, Nicola Adams and Justine Bennett all achieved first places in the freestyle and medley relay events with Clemence and Aaron Robinson winning their backstroke and breaststroke races.
David Townsend was first in the ten-year butterfly and backstroke events and Gemma Nichols won the breaststroke and freestyle. The ten-year boys relay team also achieved first place thanks to Alfie Sutton, Daniel Gittins, David Townsend and Aaron Robinson.
Other winners: 1 Luisa Petta (12/u breaststroke); 1 Leanne Townsend (freestyle); Emma Wooded (backstroke); 1 William Gayton (12/u breaststroke); 1 Johnathan Monks (14/u freestyle); 1 12/u boys medley relay team (Gayton, Richard Grove, Patrick Hughes, David Townsend).
