TWENTY Evesham Wheelers members and one guest from Lincoln took part in Sunday's club run to Staverton last Sunday.
The race training run was led by Adrian Main, and battling against a strong headwind took a route through The Combertons, Bredon, North-way, Walton Cardiff, Stoke Orchard, Elmstone Hardwicke and stopped for coffee near to Staverton.
Phil White led the second group taking the route around the opposite side of Bredon Hill to meet up with the first run at the coffee stop.
The return leg for the race run was through Kingsditch, Bishops Cleeve, Gotherington, Gretton, Wormington and Broadway to cover 50 miles.
The second run took a similar route to the outward ride to cover 45 miles.
This Sunday the club run is to Shipston-on-Stour, meet in the High Street at 9am.
