ALTHOUGH the turn out was only 28.9% in the recent elections that took place in Bengeworth. It was good to see democracy in full flight.
I realise that under certain conditions being co-opted by your fellow councillors is legal and a pragmatic way to fill vacant seats.
Councillor Booth and councillor Dyke must be feeling pleased and more confident in winning their respective seats in Democratic Election.
I wish them both good luck in the months ahead and hope that they fulfil the dreams and wishes of the electorate.
