The History of RAF Little Rissington - an illustrated talk by David Brown, is taking place on Friday May 18 at 7.30pm.
David, who served at RAF Little Rissington for 5 years prior to its closure in 1976, will outline the history of the base, covering its major contribution to the wartime RAF and its later role as home of the Central Flying School and of the Red Arrows. The talk will conclude with a selection of historic news film clips showing Royal visits, the formation flying teams – and Frederick the Pelican!
