A CONCERT has been organised to support a fund set up after a young motorcyclist died doing what he loved best.

Chris Jones, who was sponsored by Evesham firm Chapman-Tyrell Racing and Precision, was only 14 when he lost his life in an accident at a race at Cadwell Park, Lincolnshire last year.

He was airlifted to hospital but died the following day.

The concert is being hosted by motorcyclist James Toseland, who will play some music himself at the James Toseland's Crash In Concert on Saturday, January 20 from 7.30pm until late.

More than £100,000 has been raised for the Chris Jones Memorial Fund since last year.

The event, at Gilt Edge Leisure Centre in Kidderminster, will hope to swell that figure still further.

The fund raises money to provide equipment to improve trackside safety and for the benefit of riders.

Stars of the motorcycling circuit will attend the event, which will include a raffle and refreshments.

For tickets, priced £10, contact Pam at CJ Motorcycles on 01905 774333 or 07976 351377.
