At our meeting on March 13, our own Tony Davies entertained us with Tchaikovsky – the man and his music. He played a variety of the great man’s music, including excerpts from Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty, and described his troubled life.
I was amazed to discover how much of his music is so well known and is widely used in many films, adverts and other records. Among the many fans of Tchaikovsky present, Clive Allen thanked Tony for his presentation.
We meet every Thursday at 10am at the Ecgwins Club in Evesham, for a couple of hours.
