FOLLOWING and Extraordinary General Meeting held on Friday, April 26, it is confirmed that a further meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 8, at Evesham Working Men’s Club Merstow Green, starting at 7.30pm.

On the agenda will be the election of a new chairman and the appointment of a branch secretary, confirmation of a new meeting venue and setting the strategy for development of the branch.

The committee intend to hold regular social events around the town and further afield; with visits to the Normandy beaches and the National Memorial Arboretum already being planned.

More importantly though is the need to support local exservicemen injured or affected by the recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

If you are interested in joining, or otherwise in supporting the aims of Evesham Royal British Legion. then please come along to the meeting to share your views.
