NOW with summer on us and this nice weather we see lots of visitors enjoying picnics in the park.

But the pleasure gardens have become an haven for foreign drinkers, groups of them doted about the pleasure gardens and we saw one or two of them urinating in the bushes within the gardens.

Visitors with small children do not want to see this behaviour, nor do the people who use the mooring along the pleasure gardens.

This behaviour needs to be stamped out now and quickly.

We want to welcome visitors to the town – God knows we need them.

And this leads onto the state of Bridge Street.

It would not take a lot from the Wychavon or the town council to clean this area up and put a bit of pride back into the town.
