REGARDING the letter (December 11) from Rita Jelfs, of Canberra, Australia, I feel I must correct some of her facts.
It is agreed that Taylor Wimpey are contributing a considerable sum via section 106 agreement as all housing developers must do.
However, we do not yet know the details of this agreement and the sum is not yet finalised and is allocated by Wychavon District Council over various projects.
Also I must point out that Taylor Wimpey is not providing Honeybourne with a new village hall, but only providing the land on which to build in the future.
The parish itself will have to raise a considerable sum to achieve this – in the region of £300,000.
