I READ the letter (April 30) from Sharon Casswell, client services manager for Wychavon District Council, with interest.
I would like to know where the community safety team were just after 10am on Tuesday, April 28.
It was at this time that my husband and I took our two-and-a-half-year-old grandson to Abbey Park, Evesham, only to be confronted by two tramps – one asleep on the bench behind the water park and the other sitting with him drinking. I don't know what he was drinking, but I bet it wasn't pop.
There will always be problems with anti-social behaviour; the problem for the residents is that there seems to be little done about such things.
It is such a shame that the good work that the parks department have done in maintaining this Evesham asset is degraded by sights such as this and those abusing the Workman Gardens.
