Ferret racing

MAY I firstly apologise to all those who wished to take part in our charity walk, which had to be cancelled due to ground and river conditions.

My sincere thanks to those who did turn up on the day and donate to Cardiac Rehab.

We hope to reorganise this walk in the autumn, when weather conditions may be more favourable.

There will be another opportunity to help with fund-raising in August however. We are holding a ferret racing evening in the marquee at Hampton Ferry on Friday, August 24.

Tickets at £7.50 include a bangers and mash supper.
