STUDENTS from the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Centre at Evesham College are showcasing their work in a new art exhibition.

The free exhibition is open at the college, in Davies Road, from noon until 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday, March 22 and 23, and again on Wednesday and Thursday, March 29 and 30.

One of the students exhibiting is Mike Griffin who was inspired by Cheltenham Racecourse to start his oil painting collection.

This will be on display at the exhibition as well as others, including his marriage portrait of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Another exhibitor is Shirley Boddy, a stroke survivor who has adapted her art technique to achieve a style of art that is suited to her capabilities.

As a result of this, she has produced striking art pieces including a pastel interpretation of the Thames in London.

As part of the exhibition, prospective students will also have the opportunity to try a taster of some of the courses available at the ABI Centre.

Refreshments will be available to buy and there will be a cake and plant sale.
