CREEPY crawlies that are usually found in the tropics made an appearance at a Broadway school this week.

Pupils at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School took part in a rainforest workshop as part of their studies of animals and their habitats.

Children were able to stroke several creatures including a snake, a spider and a centipede and also learned about what they like to eat and where they live.

Teacher Samantha Wood said: “It was absolutely fantastic.

“The children thought it was brilliant, they loved it.”
