FIFTEEN new homes could be built in a Vale village after an application was submitted to council planners.

If the proposals are successful the houses would be built on land off Honeybourne High Street.

The application has already attracted opposition on Wychavon District Council’s website from local residents.

Their main worries are the sustainability of the village, drainage, flooding and the other developments already proposed in Honeybourne.

This site, which is not in the emerging South Worcestershire Development Plan, is the latest application in the village and follows approved plans for 44 houses off Station Road and for 70 homes on land between Dudley Road and Station Road – both of which were rejected but approved on appeal.
