POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a man was attacked in Pershore Working Men’s Club in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The victim, who suffered a head wound, was taken by ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital shortly after midnight on Saturday night. He was later released after treatment.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of wouning with intent to cause grievous bodlily harm and later released on police bail while inquiries continue.
