BRISTLE the hedgehog and Holly the kitten teamed up at the Little Animal Rescue Centre at Blackminster following lucky escapes from the cold, 21 years ago.

Holly, a four-month-old cat was thrown from a car in Weston-sub-Edge and. Apart from being a little bit thin, she was extremely affectionate and settled in well.

Bristle, a baby hedgehog, was so underweight that he was brought into the centre after being found by the roadside.

Bristle was coming on fine and hoped to be released in the spring.
