A MAN had to be airlifted to hospital yesterday after suffering serious injuries following a motorcycle crash.
The incident happened at about 7.35am yesterday in Worcester Road, Grafton Flyford, near Worcester.
The man, who is in his 50s, suffered serious leg and foot injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Two ambulances and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene.
“The motorcyclist, a man in his 50’s, suffered serious leg and foot injuries in the crash.
"He received emergency treatment at the scene and was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital major trauma unit for further emergency treatment."
