THE festive feeling will arrive in Worcester tonight when the Christmas lights are switched on.
A mystery guest will throw the switch outside the Guildhall at 5.30pm, but live music will keep shoppers entertained from 4pm.
The Worcestershire Rock Choir will perform alongside three other bands and the Little Retro Kitchen will be serving up food throughout the evening.
Shoppers can also take advantage of the start of late night shopping, which will see most shops in Worcester city centre open until 8pm on Thursdays in the run up to Christmas.
