A WORCESTER woman has made a final attempt to be reunited with photos she had developed more than 13 years ago.

Tara Probert, who lives in Warndon, said she visited a photo printing shop in Worcester in September or October 2001 to have photographs of her newborn son developed.

However, she said she was "devastated" to discover that her photographs had been mistakenly given to another couple.

"I was very upset — nothing can replace those pictures of me with my newborn son in hospital, and pictures of him in the days after he was first born," she said.

"I called the printers to check whether my pictures had been handed in for about a year afterwards, but I never heard anything. I know it's a long shot but I'm hoping that someone will see my appeal and perhaps realise they took my pictures by accident and return them. They may have been thrown out long before, or someone may have been appealing to return them, but I missed it."

Mrs Probert said after the original pictures were lost she was sure to take many more pictures of her son, Joshua, now aged 13.
